I wasn't expecting anything high-quality for $14.99 but what I got isn't even the diary that's pictured!!! The whole point of purchasing this book is because it had Jack on the front and the one I got in had a whole crowd of characters and Jack in the background. Don't buy from this vendor!

Fun? Educational Value? Durability? Well... it is a diary! It doesn't look like much fun but my child (12) doesn't put it down! It's being used for something "special". I guess its educational value lies in the fact that involves some kind of creativity whether the child is writting or drawing or scrapbooking, etc. My child loves the "secrecy" part of it. We are all BIG FANS of Jack Skeleton in this house. The items is of good quality and I like the "Jack" in the middle of each page. Nice detail. I just wish it had more pages.

Paid out $99.00 for this toy and it was nothing more than an average teen diary w/ toy lock. The lock is one of those cheap ones that the keys are not even needed to open. The cover is an image straight from the movie and overall a product that could have been purchased for $10.00 or less. I am returning this item - paid a big dollar amount and expected far more than what I received. Don't waste your money.
